This course is open to law enforcement officers and other emergency services personnel – fire, ambulance, police volunteers, etc. Attendance is required for both the classroom and clinic portion to receive the CPST certificate.  The roadside enforcement seminar is meant for law enforcement officers.

Successful completion of the course comes with a 3-year certification with the Child Passenger Safety Association of Canada and 3 years of insurance when working as a volunteer (either with other CPSAC volunteers, with another organization, or when volunteering independently). You will receive your course manual and a supply of triplicate check forms.

The roadside enforcement seminar is a supplementary option meant for police and police volunteers, though members of other emergency services are welcome to sit in after attending the CPST training.
